The Sculptural Ensemble of Constantin Brâncuşi at Târgu Jiu is a homage to the Romanian heroes of the First World War. The ensemble comprises three sculptures: the Table of Silence, the Gate of the Kiss and the Column of the Infinite, on an axis 1,300 m (4,250 ft) long, oriented west to east. The Ensemble is considered to be one of the great works of 20th century outdoor sculpture. Being proud to be a romanian and of romanian great art, I decided to create the Column_of_the_Infinite in miniature, with total respect to the measurements of the real column , which sits in Targu Jiu city. The miniature column was decreased by 120 times, and consists of one base semi-element, 15 octahedral modules, and one top semi-element, all made of brass. The functionality of my design is inside the ambiental space, being a ornament with good ergonomics and marketability.
