Columns ring

This model is a gift for my mother. She really liked this ring in a store somewhere but couldn't buy it based on its high cost. I designed this ring so it is very similar to that ring my mom saw. I created 30 column's in the ring to represent my mom's age too.. This design is designed based on rudimentary measurements I took using a string and a ruler. Any color jem can be fitted into the opening of the front of the ring. Please leave any suggestions!!
