Comic Book Wall Mount

I wanted a wall hanger that used 3m command poster strips(or similar), was quick and easy to print, had a low profile(so not to distract from the comics it would be displaying), and allows me to swap/pull comics with only minimal effort. These are the two designs I came up with. The regular is meant to be printed on the thin side with the long side on the 'Z'. This way you can pack a large amount into a small area(see picture above). The Lite version I have always printed with the "ears" flat on the bed. Both of these are made to use unmodified 3M command poster strips. You can get them cheap in bulk online but in case money is tight I have tried other double sided sticky things but they may have to be modified to fit the hangers. I have also successfully used a poster strip cut long ways in half on my wall hangers with no fall off issues what so ever(hanging loaded with comics for 3 months+). I have even done it with one strip in the middle but I don't recommend it because if you are a little heavy handed loading your comics onto them or pull it off at an odd angle, it goes out of level(also very wobbly since it only has one point of contact) . I prefer to use two full poster strips because it's easier. I apply the "poster" sticky side to the mount and the "wall" side to the wall(easy right?) I have yet to come home and have a comic on the floor or randomly fall off their hangers. They lean back far enough that most breezes haven't disturbed them. I currently have twenty seven comics hanging on my walls with the various holders I have designed/printed and they have been there for a few months with no fall or drop issues. The hangers in the mid-right/upper-right of my picture are from my first design which was basically an equilateral triangle with a hook on it. They functioned just fine but I wasn't happy with the visual footprint especially if I would have to change color to print more. So I made these updated ones to have a much smaller visual footprint which allows the use of various colors and not impact the look as much. Also with the bracket tucked behind and up, it can allow you to closely mount the comics if you wanted to fit more in a smaller area.
