Compact Fidget Spinner
cults3d
I created a smaller spinner for my grandson because most spinners are too big for small hands. The balls I used are 5/8" McMaster Carr model #96455k58. To get them to fit, you can heat them with a hair dryer or heat gun and they should pop into place easily. I designed the caps from scratch, and I'm happy with how they fit together. My printer is calibrated correctly, so when the two parts come together, the center diameter should be about 8mm (if you have calipers, that's easy to check). They should lock securely in place. If not, a little epoxy will do the trick.
