Complete Minecraft Chess Set

There are numerous fantastic versions of this chess set available, but I was particularly drawn to one that made playing the game remarkably straightforward when it comes to sides and pieces. I decided to start with PotatoFi's base set and supplement it with MikeSanchez1's bases. I also appreciated Jeremy8077's creative use of the Wither as a substitute for one of the Ender's in his chess set design. My kids had an intense debate about the Wither's placement, with some arguing it should be the king and others insisting on the queen position. It was fascinating to see how much passion blocks can evoke. With white and black bases already incorporated, I wanted to maintain a connection to color while still differentiating between each side. To achieve this, I created two versions of the pieces for each side - one lighter and one darker in hue. 02/04/2020 - I designed a case to hold the chess set's pieces, which can be found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4144971.
