Eagle Mask

Eagle Mask

The Eagle Mask was designed for ThreeForm performers at Maker Faire. Now you can print it at home for Halloween or other events. This version has been redesigned for extrusion printers that lack soluble support material. A version with a support piece has been added for increased reliability. It has wall thickness of 2mm in the thin areas and 4mm in the thick areas. It occupies two cubic inches of volume. A small ThreeForm logo has been added on the cheek area, not shown in the renderings. Instructions Scale it, print it out, and fasten with an elastic string. This mask was designed from scan data of a young woman with a 5.35" temple width. The design is somewhat forgiving, but it is better to have it oversized than undersized. I recommend scaling it up for your own temple width, plus 1%. A flexible (and easily paintable)SLS nylon version is available on Shapeways here: Eagle Mask - http://www.shapeways.com/model/734630/eagle-mask.html Two other lightweight mask designs are also currently available: Venetian Mask - http://www.shapeways.com/model/734631/venetian-mask.html DareDevil Mask - http://www.shapeways.com/model/734623/daredevil-mask.html
