Some accessories to go with the wonderful Compost Shredder design by Thymark (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3160771). Thank you very much to him by the way for designing such a fantastic device. One of the things that Thymark's design was lacking is covers for the outer gears. If your serious about really using that shredder, safety is very important, so these outer gear covers will help prevent anything from getting caught in them. Although not part of this remix, I highly recommend printing one of the many available intake hopper/funnels/intakes. You'll notice there are two different covers; 1) one for the drive end (with the exposed hex shaft) and 2) one for the opposite end. The cover for the drive end has two holes, one of which is slightly smaller than the other. The larger hole goes over the hex shaft. The smaller hold has an optional round cap that you can print to cover that hole to help keep debris out. You will need to match drill the four corner holes into the existing bearing plates but that is very easy. The two middle screws use the same screw holes in the bearing plate, but you need to use longer screws. I used M5 x 35mm flat head screws, which worked fine, but they really should be a little longer. Probably 40mm in length. The final printed counter sunk holes for the flat head screws should be a little larger so the head sits flush with the outside of the cover. Minor detail, so maybe in a future version!
