Concept Game Piece Tray

thingiverse

This organizer tray is designed specifically for the concept marker game pieces used in the Concept game. The goal was to create a neat, orderly system that fits inside the box, allowing players to easily access and organize their cubes. It's essential that this tray holds all the necessary pieces without taking up too much space. When designing this tray, it was crucial to consider its compatibility with the original game box. Unfortunately, it does displace the injection molded PP bowl included with the Concept game. If you're looking to maintain the integrity of your game components, keep in mind that you'll need to find an alternative solution for the bowl. One option is to use a heat gun to flatten out the bowl and turn it into a lid for the organizer tray. This way, all the cubes will remain contained within the box, even if it gets tipped over. The design of this tray is straightforward, with no complicated overhangs or bridges. However, its large bottom surface area measures 120mm in diameter, which may cause warping issues when printing with certain filaments. To avoid this problem, consider using a raft during printing. With my Monoprice Select Mini printer, I printed the tray successfully on a 120x120 build plate coated with blue painters tape.
