Concrete Planter Mold - Intermediate

I've had the idea of casting a concrete planter out of a 3D printed mold for quite some time. After failing with Verbatim ABS I picked up some Zen filament and went to town. There are two files: Identical_Mold_Side - This can be printed twice, I measured it out to 11cm across. Mold_Spout - This is inserted into the bottom of the mold, I tried to scale it down 2% however tolerances on printers may differ. I purposfully printed the spout a bit smaller to leave gaps at the bottom that I filled with prestik to keep the sides together before taping it up. After prepping the piece I think used simple cooking spray on the inside so the concrete does not stick. (Bare in mind I used Kwik-crete, which is a fast acting concrete filler used for fitting bolts to walls) I also used duct tape to hold the two sides together, a future iteration of this should include some parts to help connect it better. The curing time took around 2 hours in the mold, after that simply pull it apart slowly and let the model dry for another 24-48 hours. It may seem crude and rough however it actually works like a charm and the spout simply slides out. I hope you enjoy the model, would love to see any other creations!
