Prepare the template for the soap holder. Here we're creating a design using a 3D printed mold, but you could also use wood or clay materials. Take one of the Mayku Cast Sheets from the pack and remove the protective film from its top surface. This can be recycled in household waste bins. Place the sheet into the FormBox and start heating up the plastic until it becomes pliable. Position the outer template at the center of the vacuum plate, ensuring a secure fit. As the plastic begins to ripple at the edges and droop slightly in the middle, carefully form the template with the Mayku Cast Sheet. Allow the mold to cool down slightly before removing it from the FormBox. Release your template by applying firm pressure to its top surface, separating it completely from the mold. Mix a batch of concrete by combining water with concrete powder in a well-ventilated area. Add earth pigments to tint the concrete, stirring thoroughly to achieve an even color distribution. Pour the mixed concrete into the mold until it reaches just below the rim, making sure not to overfill. Tap the mold gently to remove any air bubbles that may have formed during pouring. Observe how they rise to the surface. Allow the concrete to set and harden overnight in a secure location. Carefully remove the hardened concrete from the mold by applying pressure to its corners. Let your soap dish creations cure for 48 hours before using them. To achieve a smooth finish on the bottom of your soap holder, place a sheet of coarse sandpaper on a flat surface and gently rub the dish against it in a circular motion. Once complete, place your FormBox soap creations into their new home – your custom soap dish!
