Conduit Clamp

Conduit Clamp

thingiverse

I was unable to find clamps to run conduits along a structural beam in my shop. The clamps I did find cost more than I was willing to spend and didn't look great so this is my answer to the need to mount conduit. The throat of the clamp is slightly less than the thickness of the beam to which I am attaching for an interference fit. I designed the part so that I can easily change the distance between the jaws should I have situations that require a different throat size. There is a hole to also allow for a screw but after printing and using the clamp, it wasn't necessary. I printed at a 25% infill. The clamps was rigid enough, printed in ABS, to support a 10ft length of PVC without cracking as I was installing the conduit. I am quite happy with the results and much more happy with how it fits compared to the the other conduit installed.
