This is a Cone modeled beacon used to slide over the top of the cone to allow both the cone and the beacon to be picked up simultaneously. It has a slight curve to it so it hugs the cone better. The bottom is chamfered to fit the base of the cone better as we ran into some problems with the beacon not sitting flush with the bottom of the cone . It is 3.5 in tall and 4 in wide so it fits into parameters and has passed inspection before. Its 3.75 in thick at the base. With the piece sticking up you can also embossed text onto it and it shouldn't need supports so it comes out clean. I only embossed in about 0.1-0.75mm into the model.
