Add a 3D printed personal touch to your tree with our show stopping tree topper. Print the star’s eighteen points hollow in MakerBot Natural PLA and fill with confetti for extra holiday magic. Instructions Print, with no supports or raft: 1- Base: 10% infill, 2 shells, .2mm layer height 1- Stand: 5% infill, 2 shells, .2mm layer height 18- Pyramid: 0% infill, 2 shells, .2mm layer height 1- Funnel: 3% infill, 2 shells, .3mm layer height Pause the pyramids around 60% and use the funnel to insert a few pinches of confetti into the prints. Use a pen to push the confetti to the bottom of the print. Make sure to reload filament before resuming the print to ensure the extruder is hot the moment it restarts the build. This helps ensure a strong final print. Snap the pyramids and stand into the base, gluing as necessary.
