Inspired by NeilMonteiro's adapter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4886690), it was the final straw in my deciding to buy a printer. Also, noticed db1337's remix (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5374289), which has a flanged exhaust exit. My AC unit is an AEG, which has an exhaust diameter of 150mm, the tube thread goes the other way. Sadly I could not modify Neils to fit my unit due to no experience of CAD. I decided to try to make a configurable one in OpenSCAD that anyone can modify to make an adapter for their needs (file included). The settings and STL file uploaded have a surface area around 1/3 bigger than the one supplied with the unit (wider, but narrower). The difference in noise levels is significant. Be careful not to configure the output dimensions so small that it impedes the functionality of the unit! Model took approx 2 days to print on my Ender S1 Pro. (Have noticed the customiser here does not seem to include the boolean for the thread direction as an option. If you want it to go the other way, you will need to install OpenSCAD)
