A few weeks back, I designed a iPhone dock shaped liked an easel. I needed a streamlined hinge design that would: - Offer lateral support - Stop the rotation of the supporting leg a a pre-defined angle - Be 3D printable since I wanted to print the entire assembly in one go Here are renders of the hinge design used for the iPhone Easel as well as pictures of the printed object. Support material was a little tricky to remove but I imagine this would be less of an issue using dissolvable support material.
