Connector Calibration Test
thingiverse
Before designing a connector, test your parts to see how they fit with your printing settings and 3D printer calibration. A 10mm x 10mm x 10mm cube hole is paired with different sizes of square prisms. In the simple design, numbers on the square prisms should be at the bottom before pushing them into the cube hole. This ensures that your bed heat and adhesion do not distort the size of the bottom surface. You can test both the heated and adhesived surface and the numbered surface to get accurate results. My top choice for square prisms in combination with my 10mm x 10mm x 10mm cube hole is as follows: Heated and Adhesived Surface: 9.2 Numbered Surface: 9.7 (If an even number is necessary, I choose 9.6)
