A conventional PVC/ABS cement makes the connection permanent and water-tight, ensuring it lasts for years to come. Flexible clear vinyl tubing, available at http://a.co/6vksBtx, features a 5/16” ID and 7/16” OD, making it perfect for connecting pipes. The rigid 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe has an outer diameter of 21.5mm and an inner diameter of 16mm. To secure the connection, use Oatey 30821 All Purpose Cement 8oz from http://a.co/f4Iv6ov and cement primer in Purple, 8-oz from http://a.co/354FbyQ.
