Some 3D models – e.g. [this one](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3866926) – can't be printed without using support material. The example model may be also halved horizontally and printed as two parts (without using support material), but they must be glued together – or connected via this connector [like this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tgc66TvEke4) not to require any glue. Also the connector itself may have to be halved vertically to be printable without using support material. Tip: Connecting segments may be not as easy as shown in the video mentioned above, see also [this one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h9l81bqq6A).
