Designed and Fabricated this Construction Tripod back in 2014 for use in remote access locations. Separate Tripod parts may be carried into job-site locations by hand and then quickly assembled on-site. It has been very helpful to hold/lift items that are less than 1000 pounds (450kg) ... Usually the items we lift/hold with the Tripod are about about 300 pounds (135kg) and we rarely lift items over 600 pounds (270 kg) ... The height & angle of the legs are individually adjustable so the Tripod can be setup very close next to a wall or in a corner, and/or the legs can be spread apart to be used over a large opening in floor. A chain hoist makes it very easy for one person to quickly raise/lower/hold items. The steel Tripod is light enough that two people can move it around a room after it has been assembled.
