Contact Lens Container Seal

Contact Lens Container Seal

thingiverse

This is a seal I made for a contact lens container. If you use the type of contact solution that is peroxide based, you need a special container to put it in. The container has a relief hole on the top. When I travel, the solution always leaked out of that hole. Now with this seal I created you can confidentially toss your contact lens container in your bag without worrying about it leaking and ruining your contacts. Instructions I printed this in PLA with 30% infill and .2mm layer height. No supports needed. For the seal itself, just get a rubber bumper for a cabinet door or drawer from the hardware store, shouldn't be more than a few dollars. Place the bumper in the depression of the object once you print it, and snap it on to your contact lens container case. See the attached Sketchup model to check any dimensions you need.
