The basic idea that:the crane pick up container(from truck for example)then pass through some kind of storage of twistlocks(it may loaded automaticly by feeding device in the corect place)to equip the container with twistlock and then load container to the ship on top of the other container wich is automaticly locking to each other then the crane release the container. When is downloading The crane pick the container the twistlocks are remainig on the bottom side then move the container to the same feeding place and left twistlocks then move the container to the truck. I will explane the pictures: 1)The twistlocks are loaded 2)The crane unload the container from the truck and goes to pick the twistlocks(springs are holding the axels exact in this position) 3)Same position other viewpoint 4)The twist locks are attached to container. This drums are pushed away by a spring just to hold the twistlock during the lift 5)The crane load the conatiner to the ship 6) 7) 8)The container is moving down.I have calculate that the gear ratio between two axes is 0.1(when the bar is gone from its position which is 9.5 degree from horisontal the locks will turn at 90 ) 9)The container moves down and touch the bar 10)The upper container is placed and crane realese the container 11) 12)Downloading.The crane lift up the container 13)The twistlocks are holded by drums 14)The crane lift down the container over the storage 15)The bottom side of the twistlock is hold(from somekind of mechanism inthe feeding device) 16)The crane lift up the container the force from drums is overcome and the twistlocks are ready to the loading of next container 17)The container is move out free of twistlocks to the truck
