wibbeley wobbeley timey wimey - well that is the wrong franchise. I saw Serin117's work and suddenly felt the urge to create one myself with the oddly cut peaces, so I started with a sphere in 123D Design, placed a torus 4 times, subtracted 2 from the sphere and then I started cutting... I almost went crazy, but now i got a real time traveller puzzle! No part is the same! I even accidentally put them in the wrong order :D Now with holes for magnets the size of 3x3mm as wished by graphmastur (although I chose different magnet sizes) and corrected the nobble positioning. There will be no further iterations, every detail I might have missed will be painted on. Allons-y! Continuum misses some catchfrases, I guess. I used 3mm radius, 3mm height neodyme N45 magnets, but they are a bit too weak for the task, especially on the center cut, where no piece interlocks. Or you may try at least N52 magnets. Print all the parts it's obvious... but yeah. They should print without any support, not sure about my infill, I used some honeycomb structure and used about 8-12m of 1.75mm PLA per part. You will need at least 200g of the color your printing. Finishing Sand down the insides so the later glued-in magnets will lock best. Use some putty/bondo/Spachtelmasse for the pipe sections to ged rid of the layer artifacts. Get a soldering iron and put it hot on your printed parts to get the holes and bumps on the shell. To color it I used some silver spray paint for the outside of the sphere and copper spray paint for the pipes. make a "made one" entry I'm a bit overly attached to this thingi and always check for remixes, comments, mades and likes etc. and am always happy to see that someone printed it, so please share your print :) We also have to register where one could be found in times of urgent needed time travels.
