Contour Shuttle Xpress Jog Controller Mounting tray (M4 screws)

If you own a CNC Router (or any CN milling machine to be honest) you probably want a jog controller (Pendant). Many CNC controllers are capable of using the classic Contour Shuttle Xpress USB controller for this purpose. It's a classic USB controller on the market since 2010 for video editing. It's around $50. Anyway I wanted to mount mine about the controller next to my X-carve. My tormach came with one that sits on the keyboard tray. For the X-carve I am running CNCJS as the controller UI and it can use a Shuttle Xpress. SO I needed a tray. The tray is side mounted via a pair of M4 tap holes (careful they aren't that deep, easy for a tap to drill right on through). There are also 2 M4 clearance holes on the top to directly screw down (those can be any size smaller than 4mm, including simple drywall screws) if you want to just bolt it down. The slot in the back is for the USB cable. The fit against the controller is very snug (otherwise it will slide around with all the vibration) The STEP file is here, so you can obviously edit it to put holes where you need them (or modify to make it less snug)I am also including the laser cut version for 1/8" (3mm) BB plywood, it uses t-slots for M4/1/8" bolts, Just align the 2 layers and CA glue them together. (see photo in the gallery above for finished loot)
