CONTROL BOX COVER FOR ENDER 3 most things ive seen on here just have a cover for the fan part only. i decided to make the entire motherboard housing cover with a vent for the fan built in so you dont get plastic bits down in your control box(motherboard housing) depending on how you slice and print this you will need m2 or m3 screws to hold on the fan from the original cover. i did not measure the length of the screws though i think all 3 ended up being longer than the original ones. i tested the screw fitment before i tried to put the new lid on, the slots for the two screws in front were fairly snug in the plastic but not enough for me to rework anything on the design.you can paint this and have it be sealed and will be a little more heat resistant, the control box shouldnt get super hot, but anything is possible i guess.ill try to get a photo of it on my machine soon. happy printing. ok im noticing this thing vibrates even though it is fairly thick in all the places it needs to be so im going to make some adjustmets and a few copies and you can choose the one you wanna go with. i know my machine is noisy and not too smooth so im gonna need to make the one for my machine much more rigid.
