Hi, now that summer is knocking on the door, I decide to print myself a simple desktop fan. Why buy one when you can make one from scraps? The Parts: - 80mm CPU Case Fan (get it from scraps) - The Base for the Fan (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2190277) - A Fan plate - use any design, I choose this one (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:757895) - For the power, any 12v1amp PSU will do - 1x Transistor C3306 - 1x 100k Pot (the one with a switch included) - 1x 5.5 x 2.5mm DC Power Jack Plug Socket Female - 1x Pot Knob - Some cheap set of M screws - I used the ones from a dollar store box - Crazy Glue for the box lid PSU I used (https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-DC-5V-to-DC-12V-Step-up-Module-Converter-2-1x5-5mm-Male-Connector-Plus-MF/222719676428?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649) To solder it, watch this video for a good idea: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeExkT0NlRw&t=3s) - it's not mine. Note1: I'll try using a 50k pot later and update when I do. Note2: The Part for the 120mm hasn't been tested, but according to measurements, it should fit. Have fun!
