First supersonic USA bomber and first able to reach mach 2, this aircraft is IMO one of the beautiest aircraft ever made. Introduced in 1960 its career has been very short because its typical mission was to flight to the target at high speed and high altitude but the new generation of SAM available for the Warsaw pact countries made it less suitable. The new doctrine of low altitude penetration decreased its range and so its strategic capability and soon other models as the FB-111 and then the Lancer, made it quickly obsolete. Last flight january 1970. The model can be equipped with the Two-Component Pod (TCP) or with the upper one only ; both .STL files are provided. STL model 1:100 printed with 0.4mm nozzle and sliced at 0.12 mm. I printed as shown in the images but the cleaning was not easy. Ciao Erik
