Convert a PrintDry as a food dehydrator

thingiverse

Some of you bought a food dehydrator to convert it to a filament drier. Others like me bough a PrintDry and thought “it would be nice to try dehydrating some fruits…” Here is you chance! Be advised: * only PETG can be used for this project as it will tolerate the temperature and is (kind of) food grade * the diameter is 305mm. So, you need a printer that can handle it. You cannot print it in pieces and then gluing them: not food grade! I printed mine on glass, FACE DOWN. This leaves a slick surface. To prevent bacteria growth, I hand wash them after use with dish soap, dry with a cloth and place them in the dehydrator for 1-2 hours.
