Here is a knob for a industrial kitchen gas cooktop. The knob has a relatively large diameter of 70mm. It's designed to press fit onto a standard gas fitting 8mm shaft with a (6.25mm) flat side. The top of the knob has an indentation to assist with knob positioning. My design consists of two parts, the outer knob and the shaft fitting. The 2 parts press fit together, though the addition of a suitable glue will ensure the parts do not separate. Due to high temperatures around a cooktop, eg. pots and pans, I went with a Nylon filament, which has a high working temperature of around 200C. Here is my 3D design. My design may match your needs, too. My print is made in Polymaker Polymide Nylon 1.75mm black filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 25% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
