Makita RT0700 runout measuring fixture

<p>This is a fixture for measuring runout on router bits and collets on the Makita RT0700 router.<br/> The long neck of the fixture makes it possible to measure the router spindle shaft itself, as well as long bits and extensions/adapters (Pictures show worst case scenario basically with an ER11 extension adapter).</p> <p>It might also work on other similar 65 mm diameter round style router bodies.</p> <p>Indicator dial used is a KS Tools 300.0565 Digital precision dial indicator gauge 0 - 10 mm.<br/> It has an 8 mm mounting shaft, and there should be similar indicator options out there.</p> <p>I also provide a STEP-file for the fixture body if you need to modify it to your needs.</p> <p>Print the fixture with the big round clamp side towards the build plate.</p> <p>Print two knobs, with the big end towards the build plate. There is a thin wall covering the hole, eliminating the need for support, this is easily drilled or cut out with a 5 mm drill bit or exacto blade.</p> <p>You´ll need two M5x40mm hex head screws and two M5 nuts to assemble the thing.</p> <p>If you found this useful, please consider to donate what you think it is worth to my paypal.me.<br/> Help cover the time of design.<br/> Thank you, Enjoy!</p>
