As a catapult is a huge piece of machinery, I wanted to offer it as many details as I could to avoid a disappointing "raw-wooden-thing" style. If the structure was easy to build, adding those tiny details was a little bit harder but in the end, worth it ! You'll find 4 wheels, a massive trunk of wood (7h of printing but with no supports), 2 vertical arms designed to fit perfectly the structure, 2 supportless diagonal beams, an horizontal shock absorber wrapped in fabrics, a wooden arm with a basket and a stone, 2 fur ornaments, one with a hammer, the other with a shield, and a cluster of orks' skulls you can glue anywhere you want. In the picture, the ending rope of the two clusters has been molten with an hair dryer before being bent around the upper part. And for the madly mads, I added some drudges. I know it has no gameplay value but looking at the model, I thought no dwarves would be able to move it on the battlefield. But with some strong goats maybe. I found a wonderful model of goat from which I draw a second one with different stance. I changed the curve of the horns and added long coat under the belly to reduce the distance to the ground and the need of supports. I put rocks on the ground to elevate it the same way. I also added some big beards to have a smoother angle from the nose to the knees. I won't tell you it's not a hard time to remove the remaining supports because they go far under the goats but I did it (so should you).
