Update: Added the F3D files for the batteries. Update: Added battery racks for M12 batteries. These holders are designed for specific cordless tools made by Milwaukee. I have many M12-based power tools but they are always scattered about the workshop. This keeps them in a known place AND they can be stored with the bits still in the chucks (great for the screwdriver). I designed these in Fusion 360 after reviewing many different designs on the internet. They are very strong when printed with an impact-resistant filament like PETG. Make sure you use enough perimeters to get 1.5 to 2.0 mm wall thickness, infill to 20% or more. If they break, simply increase the perimeters and infill and reprint. Supports are required (sorry!) when printing as pictured. To keep them strong, it is best to print with the base of the cylinder on your build plate. This way the hoop strength of the layers will keep them from breaking. Needed fasteners: #6 or 3.5 mm diameter drywall screws Advantages: -leave the bit in while stored -faces handle outward and angled down for an easy grab -locks the drill from pivoting so they are straight out -very strong (when printed with PETG) NOTE: the STL files are newer than the ones shown in the pictures. I cleaned them up a bit and lowered the angles to the holes for ease of installation. Drills supported. The CAT No (model) is written on the side of the drill. I also attached pictures of my drills because the shape of the tool can vary even if the model number is the same.
