I had an issue on a home built 3D printer where I couldn't put the leveling nuts on the bottom of the bed (would crash into part of the frame) and putting them on the top with a glass bed would cause issues so I designed these to set in between the leveling nuts and the heated bed so that there's a buffer between the nuts and the bed which keeps the glass from getting scratched or chipped by the nuts.
