This is a template jig for use with a router and top-bearing flush-trim bit (bottom bearing could obviously be used to. Alternatively, you could use this to trace your cuts, or if your brave, you could use a jig saw to cut the shape of the top of the leg. This is to make the top of the folding leg for Elite tournament-style cornhole board legs. The top of the boards (that I make) are 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood. In order to reach 3" height of a resting boards all plywood supports should be 2-1/4" inches tall. I'll add a second piece to help you properly drill your hole in the correct place. Final Leg measurements to make the top of your board 12 inches high when set up: Width: Any (I use a JUST UNDER 2-3/16 inches to fit in this jig) Length: After rounding the top, 13.5 inches Depth/Thickness: Any (I use 3/4 inch/19mm thick plywood) Angle to cut the bottom of the leg: 58.5 degrees
