Corona 4 Typewriter Replacement Feet

Corona 4 Typewriter Replacement Feet

These are replacement feet for the Corona 4 typewriter from nearly 100 years ago. These amazing machines typically still work great today, except the original rubber feet are long reduced to mush. I designed these to be nearly an identical replacement, but with the advantages of modern technology we can engineer materials that were previously impossible. I printed with Ninjaflex black TPU, which is nearly indestructible, flexible, and pretty gripping on most surfaces. I slice them at 100% infill (solid) for ultimate strength, but perhaps people will want to experiment with reducing this for a springier suspension. These look and function very much like the original, but should last much longer and be far more durable. Some people may prefer the dull rubber look, but I actually think these are a superior look to rubber, and the glossy finish better matches (if black) or accents (if one of the amazing DUCO colors) the rest of the machine.
