This is the Cortext3D CoreXY 3D Printer. Fully enclosed FDM printer, with print volume of about 350x350x350mm.Main frame is constructed out of heavy-duty aluminum extrusions (4020 and 2020), Single 12mm Ball screw connected to a nema 23 motor drives a cast aluminum plate bed on HGR15 Hiwin linear rails to provide extreme rigidity and flatness (the bed design doesn't need complicated 2Z or 3Z motors as its flat and rides on a single screw), with MGN12H linear rails for the XY Motion system. Nema 17 motors and flange bearings for the 6mm 2GT Belts, and easy to use tensioners in the front of the printer.Print head is currently designed for direct extrusion with a pancake Nema 17 motor mounted on it, with E3D v76 nozzle and dual 4040 fan blowers for part cooling, and an IR sensor for bed leveling. but could easily be designed to host any other required configuration. All electronics is easily accessible from the back of the printer with ventilation and clear cover. 2 front acrylic doors and hinge transparent acrylic top cover and acrylic side panels provides full enclosure for internal heating needed filaments (like ABS). Duet 3D electronics and screen is situated in a custom tiltable 3d printed case below. The printer is already built and produces amazing results, will probably post images of the real machine at a later time. Thanks to all other contributors for some of the 3d models (on grabcad and elsewhere), and to numerous other designs of 3D printers and CoreXY printers that been an inspiration and source of some ideas for this design. All design was done in Fusion 360, and the associated files (archive and a generic step file) are included in this model. Free for you to build, change and use!
