Cosori Food Dehydrator to Filament Dryer Modification

Cosori Food Dehydrator to Filament Dryer Modification

This is a design for modifying a COSORI Food Dehydrator (CFD-N051-W ONLY). The new shell allows drying two spools of filament at a time. I used Polymaker Transparent PETg. On the Prusa MK3S I used .3mm layers mode. On the Bambu X1 I used .24mm layers. You can only print one of three panels at a time. I used #4-40 x .5" screws and nuts; .25" or .38" lengths should work better. 2.5mm x 6-10mm hardware will work as well. Use one Cosori tray on the bottom to keep the spool from being directly on the heater outlet. Use the stock Cosori top cover as well. This will allow you to still use the regular trays for making banana chips, etc. CFD-N051-W: https://www.amazon.com/COSORI-Dehydrator-Temperature-Overheat-Protection/dp/B09GFVL7QX
