Cosplay Helmet Wall Mount

Cosplay Helmet Wall Mount

thingiverse

This is a test for a helmet wall mount. This was heavily inspired from Bob's video from I Like To Make Stuff YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enBjzAhNHm8 You can use a piece of felt, rubber, foam or sponge to protect the helmet from scratching. I used 2 doubled over rubber bands to get the right tension. On a hinge part there are two slots for inserting small flathead screwdriver and releasing the hinge free. There are 0.4 mm tolerance and 0.6 mm tolerance hinge files. Choose one your printer will handle. I printed on 0.4 tolerance gap and I had to snap the hinge to release it free, but now it's a tight fit and no slop.
