Covalent Bonding (tactile)

Covalent Bonding (tactile)

thingiverse

Electron configurations of common elements that bond covalently (e.g. O, H, C, Fl). Electrons are represented by spheres, in pairs. The nucleus is represented as a circle in the middle of the model. The models can be attached like puzzle pieces, demonstrating the 'sharing' of electrons that occurs in a covalent bond. Option to stick Braille on the back to label the element. Printing in PLA is better than ABS as the PLA pieces had a good fit whereas the ABS was very tight and not very flexible for disconnecting the pieces.
