I installed an Eaton surge protector this weekend. Best way to do that was to go out the bottom of my breaker box, using a female threaded extension and a short nipple with a nut to fasten it to the bottom. This plate covers the nasty hole in the drywall left when finished. The source SCAD file is fairly parametric, if you mount differently you should be able to adjust the height/width/depth needed. The connecting screws are 4-40
