Note: This is a reference design and implementation. The probability of incompatibility with your light switch is high. Most of my lights are Ikea Trådfri system. All those lights are controlled by home automation system. In addition, some lights are manually (human) controllable with remote switches. I wanted to hide the original light switches with minimum effort. The switch cover provides an optional base for Ikea Trådfri remote switch. Then, the active light switch is in the original place of room's light switch, and there is no need to tape them on the wall.
