This is our variant of the 3D printed foldable face mask.There are 2 parts for the build- the mask and the filter that screws in. Easier to print and on FDM/SLA 3D printers.Masks printed on conventional 3D printers using filament have to be heat molded to better fit the user's face.All masks, no matter the material used, have to be bend along the lines drawn and glued.It is compatible with: -FFP1/FFP2(N95)/FFP3 filter-Stamped out 44 mm circles from a mask rated up to N95/FFP2 standards-HEPA filter rated up to the N95/FFP2 standard(used for AC units, etc)This is only intended to help clarify FFR performance standards and designations (more can be found online):• N95 (United States NIOSH-42CFR84)• FFP2 (Europe EN 149-2001)• KN95 (China GB2626-2006)Taken from a 3M document published in January of 2020."Filtering facepiece respirators (FFR), which are sometimes called disposable respirators, are subject to various regulatorystandards around the world. THE MATERIALS USED FOR THE PRINTING PROCESS SHOULD BE ANTIMICROBIAL/ACTIVE MATERIALS.The mask is NOT CERTIFIED and is NOT a MEDICAL device.The mask and filter should be washed and disinfected after every use. It can be reused.You can use the STP files to modify the mask to your liking, this is a community project.
