During a pandemic situation, this tool is essential in hospitals but often insufficient at most facilities. Consequently, innovation is necessary to prevent the situation from deteriorating further. When manufactured using 3D printing technology, it can operate automatically and swiftly produce ventilators while reducing production costs. i) Ventilator Box - The purpose of this box is to house AmbuBag, Moving Part, Spring, Flexible Hose, and Air Compressor Controller. Certain areas have been cut out to provide a path for the moving part. ii) AmbuBag - This component is essential in every aspect of the ventilator. Made from flexible plastic, it returns to its original shape after the moving part moves backward. Its primary function is to supply oxygen to patients. The amount of oxygen released can be controlled by the air compressor. iii) Moving Part - Located between AmbuBag and Flexible Hose, this component moves forward when pressure from the air compressor is applied, compressing AmbuBag in the process. iv) Spring - Situated at the bottom of the plate, this spring's primary function is to return the moving part to its original position after it has moved forward. Both ends of the spring are flattened to enhance efficiency. v) Flexible Hose - As a connector between Moving Part and Air Controller, this hose expands when high pressure is applied. It is tightly secured to the moving part to prevent loosening under high-pressure air from the compressor. vi) Air Compressor Controller - This controller contains electrical components that control the flow of adequate air while providing high pressure to push the moving part.
