Cox Baja Bug / Dune Buggy Rear Wheels

2018.12.23 - Added files for front wheels These are replacement wheels for the vintage Cox Baja Bug and Dune Buggy. I am still waiting on my 3D printer to arrive so I had these made through Shapeways just to be sure that they worked (only the rear wheels, I have not yet tested the front wheels). Once the printer arrives I will print and provide an update using that method. Each of the parts is a separate .stl so that you can adjust the orientation, etc. for the best print. Just like the original wheels the tolerances on these are very tight and snapping them together takes a good amount of force. I aligned the parts and then placed the outside of the wheel on a piece of cardboard over concrete and used a socket on top of the installation tool on the inner hub to press the assembly together. I highly recommend printing the installation tool to prevent damage when pounding the assembly together with a socket. Just like the originals they are also difficult to disassemble too.
