CPAP Hose Clip

CPAP Hose Clip

A visitor mentioned that they were looking for something like a CPAP Hose Clip to guide the hose near their bed, so I designed and tested this. The bore is 20mm, and the two parts go together with a paperclip bent through the hinges, and clipped short. For my standard hose I found it slide through smoothly with a tiny bit of clearance, so if you want it to be a tighter grip, try printing at 95% scale, or packing a bit of paper or tape into the bore. It can be mounted with a standard size 8 screw, or double sided sticky foam. UPDATED 19-Jun-18_11-29 Added a Clip version (02) for a more convenient solution. The hose firmly clips in, but can still slide through smoothly. A rubber band can also be used to grip the hose to prevent free movement if you wish. Added a Hook that is 30° off horizontal and about 10cm long that can guide the hose as well as store the mask when not in use. I have it mounted to my headboard for convenience. UPDATED 29-Jun-18_16-17 Added a better hook that doesn't let the mask slide off sideways, even when the cat rubs on it.
