CR-10 Glass Holder & Clip

CR-10 Glass Holder & Clip

I got myself a CR-10 and didn't like using those clips to hold the glass in place so I made something to put under the bed to hold the glass in place without getting in the way. This will allow for easy removal of the glass print bed, keep the glass square and clamps it down. You will want to use something that will be able to resist the temperatures the bed will reach while printing. Nylon and ABS are preferable. Print three of each parts and install the holder on the leveling screw in between the heating plate and the spring. The clip part fits on the corner and clips into the holder putting tension on the class. I went back and finished the piece for the corner where the bed heater power cable attaches, those are the two newest pieces. One side is cut back to prevent collisions between the holder and the z axis stepping motor mounting bracket, a previous design would collide. Also there is an extended tab for cable strain relief, just requires 2 zip-ties. Let me know if something doesn't work right. Now including one of each holder with out holes so they can sized to potentially fit other Creality printers. Simply fit the holder under the build plate, mark the hole, and once its away from the build plate drill the desired hole size. Update: I recently designed and built an enclosure for the entire printer. Nylon printed clips are holding up with no deformation when in contact with the bed set for 95c.
