CR10 Filament box - to keep the filament dry during printing. UPDATE 8 NOV 2018 A dust remover/lubricator can be add to the system. A lint free towel (microfiber) or a sponge can be inserted in to the design part. Some recommend adding few drops of oil to the filter... I do not know the effect of oil to the final print, layer adhesion... etc ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY7ZrVE8eks The simplest way to use the filter, have the filament pass through the parts and feed in to the printer. Then open the filter and ad the cleaning texture you are using - wrapping it around the filament.. Close back the system! 22 OCT TWO NEW VERSIONS of the LID and BOX with a different thread. See all parts 7th Series AND 4X4 Series! New Versions plug, nut , compression ring 4.8 and 5mm hole! 21 OCT I was not that happy with the bowden connection, therefore... I design a fast coupling for the bowden tube! Connections not in use need to be plug in! A set off a NUT, COMPRESION RING and PLUG need to be printed for each connection (5 sets) A Nut, a Compresion Ring and a Plug get into a Bar... LID - print OK! BOX - print OK! CR10, n 0.4, f-asa, n245c, b110c, lh 0.2, if 60%,wt 1mm, tbt 1mm, f 0%, print in enclosed space Box and Lid they fit well, however, all print imperfections need to be clean! I use a wire brush, I am to lazy to use a small cleaning tool! I am not happy with the bowden connection, I will design a fast coupling for the bowden tube! Lesson learn - for a thread this size - 0.55mm gap between threads... not enough! 0.8 - 1mm probably more recommended! Design to use as support the CR10 original spool holder, however can be used on any printer. The CR10 spool holder can be mounted as intended on top of CR10 control box or as you may choose :wall, desk, on top or side of your printer...! For those who own a different printer... I will design an universal version in near future! UPDATE !
