CR 10 S to Core XY conversion Kit

This is an extension project for converting CR 10 S to a core XY printer. The design goal was to use minimum extra parts and maximize the available bed space. This design will give you a bed size of 290 x 310. I added a nozzle cam I made one from an old laptop camera and the is enough space for it behind Hot end. In case you are wondering why Core XY is better than the cartesian system. 1. In comparison to the cartesian system Core XY has lower inertia on the Y-axis creating fewer artifacts on the prints. Since cr 10 / cr 10 s has a 300 x 300 x 400 mm build area it is next to impossible not to have wringing and other print artifacts on the prints. 2. Core XY has some merits in terms of higher print speed. 3. Core XY due to less similar inertia on both X and Y axis, round or cylindrical parts will have less ovality and give better roundness. Feel free to use this design to make changes to your CR10 S. However, this project is under development and purse at your own risk.
