I was having so much trouble with my clear BMG clone extruders from AliExpress because of the height or the alignment and I finally found the thing that I based upon and remixed it for the CR -10 smart Creality 3-D printer. The gap spacing on the extruder portion is 3 mm and the gap spacing on the filament sensor part is 17 mm. You will need three M3X 40 mm hex machine head screws tomatoes to the extruder and the stack screws that came with the filament sensor. You probably want to drive the threads of the filament sensor screw in first because there are no threads in the design, I use the Milwaukee driver and it threads just fine.
