CR-10 V2 Control Box PSU Quiet Fan Upgrade

thingiverse

This Thing is used to quiet down the PSU fan in your CR-10 V2. The stock PSU is a Meanwell LRS-350-24. This Thing replaces the stock bottom cover and locates the PSU fan to the outside of the control box. The CR-10 V2's Meanwell PSU is 24 volts so it will require a Buck Converter (or other method) to provide 12V for the new fan. I have split the bottom cover in two parts for ease of printing. When torqued down all is tight. The fan cover is a remix from dermatin's "Mean Well LRS 350 Silent Fan Cover" found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3406054 I have sized the fan cover to fit an 80x80x25 fan and added a second set of mounts to better connect the two cover halves. Also, added some additional holes for more mounting options. My design for the feet can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4326198 I cut the PSU cover in half to reduce EMI and taped the cut edge. ***** BE CAREFUL !! ELECTRIFIED COMPONENTS IN THE POWER SUPPLY CAN LEAD TO DEATH *****
