CR-10S5 Z-brace kit remix

For the CR-10S5, this is a remix of the turnbuckles from the Z-brace kit by Buildituniversity. I extended the turnbuckles by +50mm and +75mm, so you can use a 24in threaded rod off the shelf, instead of buying longer rods and cutting them down to size. You'll print (4) of the normal short turnbuckles from the original design, (2) of these +50mm turnbuckles for the rear braces, (2) of these +75mm turnbuckles for the front braces, and (2) of the tower tops. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2720170 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2720165 Aside from this remix, you'll still need all the hardware from the instructions on the original, but you'll use four 24in 1/4-20 threaded rods instead of the custom-length ones in Buildituniversity's instructions. I chose to use an inexpensive Harbor Freight tap-and-die kit to add threads to my aluminum extrusions, instead of trying to force these to self-tap. I also wrapped my threaded rods with electrical tape for a more finished look. Put one end in a drill chuck and have a friend spin the drill while you pull the tape into place. Wrap it against the direction of the threads, so it stays in place when you screw the pieces together.
